I'd like to have a Bucket List...... things I'd like to get done before my time is up. But for now I've got a "To Do" list. At the top of that list today is completing the ever worrisome "Taxes"...ugh. We have to pay in this year so I'm not so anxious to "get 'er done" and for sure know I won't be mailing that in til April 15th.
Today I got caught up in sorting pictures....you know, all those photos you have that you just wish you could get into albums. Well, I have a sorting system that helps but I have been sloppy about keeping it done up, so today I jumped in and did some updating of my system. That just means the actual photos on hand, then there in all these photos now stored in my computer.
Somehow when I download photos they end up in about three different places. When I start looking for them I never know for sure which file they are in.
Well then.....I start in my antique trunk looking for something I was sure was in there.
That's my "keepsake" trunk where I've tucked away every card that my husband, children, grandchildren, etc has given me for over 20 years. There's a lot of love in that trunk. My wedding stuff is in there along with all the letters that Pat & I wrote when he was in the Marines and stationed in California. There's the favored first baby outfits from each of our children, and special keepsakes loaded with memories.
So, back to the "To Do" list. Getting back to this blog has been on that list.
Hey!!! I can check that off my list now.
And for now I have place to put some of those things I just don't want to mess with
