Good Morning

I start my day tired, but encouraged. Our church has a tradition and now having attended there for several months, kind of "caught on" to the whole thing. So, 1st and 3rd Sundays they do not have evening services, instead they use that time to fellowship in homes. We have been invited several times for dinner. Usually there will be 2 or more families, a light meal and just lots of time to visit and get to know each other more....great time.
Our living quarters are smaller than what we have had over the past several years, but I decided we could invite one family and I chose a family that we had not had the chance to fellowship with other places. For some reason I thought they only had 3 children still at home. When I confirmed that they would come for dinner and confirmed they had 3 children, he corrected me to say we have 5, so that would be a total of 7 for the evening plus us. Wow! now I've got my job cut out for me. We were able to put both "leafs" in the table and rounded up some extra chairs and the table was set beautifully.
God truly blessed the food I prepared and what a wonderful time we had. They arrived at 5:00 p.m. and the next four hours flew by. We ladies and girls cozzied up in my office, pouring over painting books, photo albums and some scrapbooking ideas. The men and boys were clustered in the livingroom enjoying discussing scriptures and experiences.
Tried a new recipe and WOW was it ever good. Chicken with cranberries and oranges. Was like so "gourmet" and really easy.
God's blessing on our day was sweet. Hope each of you have a great week!
